I am standing on the shoulders of giants
We don’t read and write [poetry] because it’s cute. We read and write [poetry] because we are members of the human race. And the human race is filled with passion.
— Dead Poet’s Society.
I am standing on the shoulders of giants. I could not have done what I saw. I could not have achieved what I did and I could not have become the man that I am today.
Yet, here I am. I have the privilege of living a future carved out by those who have gone before me, partnered with me, supported me, carried me and prayed for me.
The least I can do is write. Or perhaps, that is the most I can do to say thank you. It’s giving honor where honor is due. It’s lifting my hat to those who are even greater than I.
So this is me, sharing my moments.
